Then Christmas lights and St Ives in January! Mousehole in Cornwall have some of the best light displays in the country. Sadly my camera doesn't like taking night shots. More under the cut >>
This is Newlyn in Cornwall. I really loved the mermaid that winked at you. :)
Mousehole. Blast my camera but I hope you get the idea of how amazing the display was.
A lovely shop display in St Ives.
Yes, I think that's a camilla flowering. In January.
This gravestone had a beautiful dedication which I've attempted to decipher. It just shows how loved this lady was in life.
"Sleep well, sweet Maid! whom as black winter stole the fragrant bud of Spring, too Early (?) blown, untimely Death has nipped. Here take thy rose, inviolable here! While we than thou less favoured through the irksome vale of life toil on in tears without thee. Yet not long shall Death divide us! Rapid is the flight of life more rapid than the turtle's (dove) wings. And soon our bones shall meet. Here may we Sleep. Here wake together! and by his Dear might Who conquered Death for sinful man ascend. Forever hence to an Eternal home."
